From my most recent newsletter…
Well…the unthinkable has happened. Towne Storage, the glorious old building that has housed Barefoot Photography for years, has been sold. And the buyer is not a lover of all things old and fabulous. He is planning to revamp everything…and by revamp I mean destroy. :( And the revamping includes the tenants. My time in this beautiful space is limited. And I am really heartbroken.
One of my first thoughts when I found out was of my clients. For those of you over the years who have also adored those “pirate ship” floors and crumbling brick wall in your portraits, your time is limited too. Those of you who opt to take advantage of these mini sessions, you will literally be some of the last people photographed in this studio.
My goal is to offer as many sessions as necessary to get in anyone wants one last session. Of course, these are not the last ever Barefoot Photography mini sessions that will ever be offered, but the new space I am considering does not have a brick wall, and the wood floors will be beautiful, but handmade and not years and years in the making.
So first, I am going to offer one day, Saturday the 12th, from 8am to 5pm. If those fill up quickly I will open some more times up. If you are interested in a session, but will be out of town or busy on the 12th email me anyway and we can set up a time.
